The journal is an excellent read alongside the book, but the journal is therapeutic allowing you to think, and reflect on those tough life questions and issues that you might not even think about, but definitely need to resolve. Dr. Price gives you his knowledge and wisdom to help you through resolving some of those issues, which is extremely helpful! If you're sharing the book and journal as I am with my son, I recommend possibly not writing in the journal but writing in something else to keep your answers private, but still allowing someone else to have their therapeutic reading also.
